This was a super book, I am always happy that purchasing power is looked at in reference to women's studies in the US. I thought readers of this might like the Women of Tibet film project as well, documentaries about the contributions of Tibetan women to the history, politics, and Tibet in exile. The stories told in the films are rare and priceless.
